IoT Machine Availability
MACHINE AVAILABILITY TIMELINEβ
This screen is used to view machine running and stop history in a visual timeline with clear status colors, duration, and saved reason details.
1. Open Machine Availability Timelineβ
- Go to Production and Quality
- Open Report
- Click Machine Availability Timeline
2. Purpose of This Screenβ
This screen helps users:
- Check machine status history for a selected period
- Understand how long each status lasted
- View stop reason details already saved
- Monitor machine behavior quickly by color blocks
3. Search Areaβ
Fields available:
- Machines (multi-select)
- From date/time
- To date/time
- Quick range buttons (4h / 8h / 24h)
Buttons:
- Apply: Loads timeline data
- Reset: Clears selected filters
Validations:
- At least one machine must be selected
- From and To are required
- To must be later than From
- Maximum range allowed is 24 hours
4. Status Color Guide + Manager Meaningβ
| Status | Color | Simple Meaning | Shop Floor View |
|---|---|---|---|
| Operate | π’ | Machine is running | Production is active |
| Suspend | π | Temporary pause, waiting to continue | In-cycle waiting; operator action may be needed |
| Stop | π‘ | Work for that cycle is complete | Machine not producing; ready for next setup |
| Alarm | π΄ | Problem detected; needs correction | Active downtime; maintenance/supervisor needed |
| Disconnect | βͺ | Machine is offline or not connected | Data is not being collected |
| Emergency | π£ | Emergency stop is active | Immediate safety/hazard state |
5. Timeline Areaβ
Each horizontal row belongs to one machine.
Each colored block shows one status period.
On hover, users can see:
- Machine name
- Status
- From time
- To time
- Duration
- Saved reason details (if available)
6. Click Action on Timeline Blockβ
When user clicks a block (mainly stop-related status), a details popup opens.
Popup shows:
- Machine
- Status
- Reason list in table format
- From time and To time for each reason row
- Duration for each reason row
This helps team leads and managers understand what happened during that period.
7. Practical Reading Tipsβ
- π Suspend usually means machine can continue after a wait condition is cleared.
- π‘ Stop usually means current work ended and machine is idle for next step.
- π΄ Alarm means urgent check is required before restarting.
8. Legend Areaβ
Legend is shown below timeline.
It contains:
- Color box
- Status name
This helps users quickly map timeline colors to status names.
9. No Data Caseβ
If no records are available for selected filters, screen shows a no-data message.
Recommended checks:
- Verify date/time range
- Verify selected machine
- Try 8h quick range
10. Export Supportβ
Users can export timeline data to CSV for sharing and review.
Export includes:
- Machine
- Status
- Start
- End
- Duration
11. Data Source (User View)β
What user sees on this screen comes from machine status history captured from connected machine data.
If reason details are saved in IoT Idle Time screen, the same reason details are also shown here for matching status period.
12. Best Usage Tipsβ
- Use 8h range for shift-level review
- Use 24h range for daily review
- Check stop blocks first
- Open popup for complete reason breakup before taking action
